Energy Efficient Tankless Water Heaters for Your Home

By: Danny Lipford

Heating water can account for up to 25% of the monthly energy bill in your home, but an energy efficient tankless water heater can reduce that expense. Unlike a traditional water heater, a tankless water heater only heats the water when you need it.

Even though a tankless water heater cost more than a standard water heater, it can pay for itself over time. Watch this video to find out more.

I’m trying to find an under sink tankless heater that hooks into the hot water line that will boost the hot water temp(it is cold for more than two minutes when turned on), until the hot water flows from the whole house tank heater.
Is there such a product available?

I have a gas tankless water heater. When the hot faucet is turned on it seem to take an inordinate amount of time before hot water actually comes through the faucet. The heater is mounted on the exterior wall right outside the bathroom where it seems to take the longest time for the water to get hot.

Is this standard or is there something I should check?tential problem?
