Danny Lipford: The Kuppersmith Project is the renovation of an 85-year-old, classic American Tudor home. While I want to keep its unique character, I also want to create a home with the kind of energy efficiency and functionality everyone has come to expect in the 21st century. Here’s a great example from Gladiator GarageWorks.
Danny: Hey guys, how’s it going?
Mark Bufkin: Going good.
Danny: Mark, I see you finally uncovered this garage floor. What, it’s been covered up for about five months; I was hoping that it hadn’t gotten stained or anything, but heck it looks great.
Mark: Yeah, the plastic kept it protected good.
Danny: And we had all this stuff stored in here and everything. But, speaking of storage, I see that you got started on your Gladiator GarageWorks system. What do you think about it so far?
Mark: Well it’s some nice stuff, it’s got these locks. It goes together real simple, and its real heavy duty.
Danny: You know, I’ve seen it at the shows a lot and everything, and of course they have a zillion different accessories and everything. But I always thought it’d be such a great gift for someone to give someone, you know, that has a garage and that kind of thing. But, any problems so far?
Mark: Just one. Here, we’ve got the vacuum cleaner system is going to be hung here, and the drawings don’t really reflect that.
Danny: Oh yeah, we kind of added that at the last minute, didn’t we.
Mark: Yeah, but we can slide it down, I think, and have plenty of room to get to the sink and everything.
Danny: You probably need a little clearance on that garage door up there anyways, don’t you.
Mark: It wouldn’t hurt, sure wouldn’t hurt.
Danny: Yeah. Well, there’s plenty of room there, that you can just move that down a little bit, and put everything in there. That’s going to be pretty cool though to get everything up off the floor, you know, and hanging here and there. And, I know on the other sides, they have it all set up.
Mark: Yeah, for the sportsmen side. That’s the sports and recreation side.
Danny: Yeah, that’s pretty cool. All right. Well good, shoot you’ll have this thing done in less than a day then won’t you?
Mark: Oh yeah, we’ll be done today.
Danny: Oh, perfect.
