How to Conserve Water in Your Home

The average U.S. family of four uses almost 150,000 gallons of water a year with very little of that for drinking. Ways to reduce the amount of water used in your home include:

  • Turning off the water while brushing your teeth or shaving.
  • Fixing any leaks in faucets or toilets.
  • Installing low-flow showerheads and faucet aerators.
