In addition, the wining entry will have their “Win Your Own Pavestone Paradise” makeover project featured on an upcoming episode of our nationally syndicated home improvement TV show Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford.

Here’s the winning essay, which was accompanied by a video of Wes and his family in their backyard.

Danny,
PLEASE make our backyard paradise dreams a REALITY! We’re a large family with five incredible kids, so we REALLY want our house to become THE positive “hangout spot” for their friends.

This investment in our family will reap huge benefits by creating life-long, “etched in Pavestone” memories, promoting outside activities, and cultivating a beautiful “garden” of friendships.

Your landscaping expertise would also eliminate two of our major backyard issues. A gorgeous tree provides great backyard potential, but its shade hinders grass from growing. We also have an ugly little concrete slab that doesn’t allow for any entertaining. Thank YOU!

The Pavestone Paradise contest is sponsored by Today’s Homeowner and Pavestone. Visit our Giveaways page to find out about any other contests, sweepstakes, or giveaways that are currently taking place.

We build a new home three years ago with all the best insulation we were told to keep the house warmer. Now we have a really bad condensation problem around the windows. One really cold days I have to wipe off the water every morning. The bedroom window now has black mold on the window seal that I cant get rid of.I know the problem is deeper and don’t know where to start, other then taking off all the trim, which I don’t really want to do in a new home. Do you have any ideas how to fix this problem. Thank you for any help you can offer.

I really need help with my bedroom window. It started leaking last year, we have had 2 different friends try and help us with it. It still leaks. Every winter I have to put plastic around the window so water doesn’t get through. With winter approaching I really would love some help with this. thank you
