ASK DANNY: What should I do with this pink marble tub?

By: Danny Lipford

I have a pink marble tub and countertop with built-in sinks. What type of paint should I use to paint it? Hopefully you can help me with this project.

Epoxy paint is very effective in creating a washable, durable surface. But I do not feel that it will provide you a long-lasting finish when applied to cultured marble and use in extreme wet areas such as the tub.
Unfortunately, the best thing to do in this case is full replacement.

I have long terracotta pipe in the ground along my river front to make a sea wall. As I am getting older It is harder to maneuver the slick pipe to enter & exit the water. What can I use to cover the top to make it rough? Will concrete adhere to the pipe? Thanks
