Homeowner’s Guide to Cabinet Hinges

Partial or Semi Wraparound Hinges
As the name implies, partial wraparound hinges wrap around the frame of the cabinet and attach to the back of the door. Because they cover such a large surface area, they’re very stable. When the cabinet door is closed, all you see is the knuckle and pin. Partial wraparound hinges are available for any type of face frame cabinet door and are usually self-closing.
Uses: Face frame cabinets with overlay, inset, or flush doors.
