Be on the Show

Behind the Scenes Brad Shoot

Do you need repairs or improvements to your house that you just aren’t sure how to do?

Who doesn’t, right?

Here is your chance to be on the 20th season of nationally syndicated home improvement television show Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford.

We’re a fun and enthusiastic bunch, so we’re looking for fun and enthusiastic homeowners to be on the show! We’ll empower you and our audience to take on manageable projects around the house.

All we ask is for your time and your personality. Occasionally, we’ll ask you to contribute a moderate amount of money toward the project.

Check out our list, submit your project, and we’ll take it from there. Email us at

To be considered for an episode your submission must include:

  • Name, address (within 100 miles of Mobile, Alabama), email address and phone number.
  • Photos or videos of your home and project.
  • Brief, but detailed, description of the project or projects you need to tackle.
  • Tell us about you and your family, including at least one photo.

We Are Currently Looking For:

The Efficient Home: Do you have that one room that doesn’t get cool enough in the summer or warm enough in the winter? Maybe it’s a converted garage, an attic room or a mother-in-law suite that you’d like to use more, but just can’t get to a comfortable temperature. The Today’s Homeowner crew wants to help you make that space usable, with some innovative air conditioning and energy efficiency fixes.

Spring and Summer Fix-Up: Warmer weather is on the way, which means it’s time to get out and tackle those pesky household chores that might have gotten away from you this winter. Send us your list of manageable repairs and we’ll show you the tips and tricks to get them done … fast.

Multipurpose Room: Just about every house has a room that serves more than one purpose. Whether it’s a spare bedroom for several different hobbies or an office/guest room, we’ll show you how you can make the most of the space without it feeling cluttered.

Living Space Facelift: Is your living room dark and cramped? Could your dining room be more functional? Paint, an accent wall, new moldings and storage are all ways to transform a room. We’ll show you how small changes can make a big difference in some of the most used rooms of your house.

Whatcha got? We want to see your home repair to-do list. What manageable projects do you have that you just aren’t sure how to start (or finish)? Remember to include pictures of the projects, a detailed description of the project and some photos of you and your family.
