Meet the Team
Danny Lipford is our fearless leader at Today’s Homeowner. You may wonder if he ever sleeps between hosting Today’s Homeowner TV and radio, running a video production team, and contributing his home improvement expertise to national media outlets. He loves his river cabin, spending time on the boat with friends and family, and is an avid practical joker.
Chelsea Lipford Wolf is our born and raised home enthusiast.
She made her television debut at the age of 11 when she pushed a shopping cart through the home center in the background of a Today’s Homeowner TV shoot. Today, you’ll find her co-hosting that same TV show with her dad, Danny. Chelsea branched out in 2014 with her own original web series and blog “Checking In With Chelsea” featuring fun décor, craft and home improvement projects.
Joe Truini is our favorite “nice guy.” His diverse and lifelong career in home improvement makes him a valuable asset and contributor to Today’s Homeowner where he hosts “Simple Solutions” and to our weekly Today’s Homeowner radio show. Joe is a best-selling author, enjoys traveling and never forgets anyone’s birthday.
Chad Kirtland is our jack-of-all-trades at Today’s Homeowner Media. As the Vice President of Production, he does a little bit of everything — producing, scouting, spreadsheeting, videoing, writing, editorialing, and the list goes on. He’s also known as the McGuyver of our office – able to solve all sorts of stressful problems with his ingenuity and superhero skills. He has a calm demeanor, sharp wit and you definitely want to pick him first on your bowling team.
Sharon Lipford – wife of Danny, mom of Chelsea. And everyone’s best friend since she writes the checks! As our Today’s Homeowner accountant and head of HR, she keeps us in line while watching the bottom line. Sharon is full of life, has a generous spirit and enjoys traveling with her family.
Tiffany Burtnett is our Vice President of National Sales. That means she moves fast, so you better lace up your running shoes if you plan to keep up with her. Tiffany travels the country spreading the gospel of home improvement, ensuring that we partner with the best of the best here at Today’s Homeowner. She’s the mom of two wild boys whom she loves dearly, hates the snow, and can multi-task better than anyone we know.
Stephanie Greenwood is our resident sorority girl and oversees the public relations & marketing efforts for Today’s Homeowner Media. Whether she’s booking national TV appearances, communicating with our fans and partners or planning office shenanigans, Stephanie makes sure our company image and messaging get noticed by all the right people. She has big hair, a big smile and a big personality.
Jack Christiansen is our super sales sleuth. He manages advertising for our western territory and we suspect he has a photographic memory. Jack is a consummate professional and takes a personal interest in every Today’s Homeowner client. He is an avid Bears fan and would take you down over a plate of southern BBQ ribs.
Gary Dennis manages our advertising in the Southeast.
Pete is an avid hockey fan and heads up our Northeast Advertising Sales. He’s a 20-year veteran in the industry and has worked with top networks including AMC, MTV & Turner Broadcasting. When he’s not running around his hometown of Millburn, NJ, with his wife, Danielle, and 3 kiddos, Pete can be found in the kitchen preparing his favorite Southern Italian dishes (he makes a mean lasagna) or skating around his local rink blasting slap shots at opposing goalies.
Larry is our tireless sales media exec. handling the west coast for Today’s Homeowner Media. If you want to talk about digital advertising, he’s your guy! He has a special talent for digital sales and has evolved with the industry for almost 20 years. Larry lives in sunny California with his wife and 2 teenagers and enjoys year-round tennis and trips to the beach.
Scott Basilotta is our syndication hound dog. He can sniff out a lead from miles away – always on the lookout to grow our Today’s Homeowner TV and radio affiliate family. Affectionately nicknamed Scotty B, he is tenacious, loyal and a respected member of our team. He also has a not-so-secret crush on Katy Perry.
You know Dennis – or at least his voice – as he greets you each week on the airwaves of Today’s Homeowner Radio. As our smooth-talking producer, Dennis charms our listeners and has been known to play referee between Danny and Allen. With a great sense of humor and professionalism, Dennis keeps them in line, and on the air to deliver the best in home improvement radio.
Scott Gardner is our creative genius. His official title is Creative Director, which is code for “does-whatever-it-takes-to-get-the-show-on-the-air.” As a gifted wordsmith, Scott makes sure our audience always gets great information they can use and understand. With 18 years of directing TH on the books, he does the hands-down best impression of Danny. When he’s not behind the scenes at Today’s Homeowner, Scott enjoys hanging with his wife, Anne, and their three handsome boys.
Grace under pressure best describes our newest producer, Allison. Except, perhaps, when she’s behind the wheel. Of the production van, in particular. A self-professed terrible driver, Allison is expert at writing scripts, dressing a set, and working closely with talent and production staff to ensure a seamless process and finished product.
Amy Dodsworth is our client service superstar. She takes care of our TV and radio partners with gifted efficiency and ease – a tall order with over 400 stations! She also makes sure our sponsors receive the very best service which is why they keep coming back. Amy’s a team-player, cat lover and made a hole-in-one at a recent round of office mini-golf.
Rich Baldwin is our calm, cool and collected editor. Need a new sizzle reel 3 hours ago? Rich is on it, and all with a smile and can-do attitude. As a valued member of our outstanding production team at 3 Echoes he can usually be found in one of our editing suites, sifting through hours of footage to find just the right shot for a project.
Thomas manages all of Today’s Homeowner Media’s web content. That includes the show’s website and its Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube pages. He also collects questions for Danny Lipford each day, so keep commenting on todayshomeowner.com — America’s home improvement expert could answer your question! Outside of work, he loves to cook and spend time with family and friends. He also is an avid binge-watcher and classic film fan.
Kathleen Crenshaw is our go-to girl. Need something shipped? Copier jammed? Can’t retrieve your voicemail? Kathleen’s on it. As office manager at Today’s Homeowner, she keeps us in line and in coffee. She’s also the pleasant voice you hear when you call our office! Kathleen enjoys gardening and yoga and has a calm and peaceful presence, which is a breath of fresh air around this crazy place!
Brandon is our content producer at Today’s Homeowner. He’s the newest member of our crew with an award-winning background in broadcasting. His to-do list is always filled with a wide range of projects including producing the radio show and getting the latest videos published for you online. His creative voice and organizational skills are his not-so-secret superpowers. He’s great at checkers, scared of chess, and will argue all day long that 90’s music still holds up to this day!
Mike Richardson is our magic man and tech genius. As our Motion Design Editor, he can make words fly, houses spin and has all sorts of other fancy editing tricks up his sleeve. Need someone to take care of that nasty computer virus, or configure your email on your new phone? Mike’s your guy. We can all count on him to meet a deadline and make our TV show – or any other video or web project – shine. He is a kind soul and can totally be bribed with chocolate.
Brad Rodgers is the best handheld videographer in North America – and he’s ours! Since he’s worked at Today’s Homeowner for more than 18 years, Danny claims to have taught him everything he knows. Brad enjoys the finishing details on any home improvement project. He’s never met a caulk gun he didn’t love – the only thing he loves more is his sweet wife Jolyn.
