There’s nothing more annoying than to be working on one of those “quick-fix” projects only to realize that the tool you need is in your garage or basement workshop.

When it comes to tools, convenience is everything, so you can save time around the house by having a few basic tools stashed in a kitchen drawer where you can always get to them quickly.

Here are some the must-have tools that you might want to consider for inside kit: a hammer, a Phillips and a flathead screwdriver, a small tape measure, a utility knife, a torpedo level, vise-grips, pliers, and duct tape. Once your project is completed, just make sure you return everything to the drawer, so it’s there for your next project.

Where can these be bought? How far apart is recommended? Do they slide on metal roofing? We plan to put a deck on our back upstair roof. These are questions that come up as we watched your presentation.
