Power Allen Wrench

No matter what the style of the furniture is, all of those un- assembled pieces that you buy on-line or in a warehouse store have one thing in common – Allen head fasteners. Some pieces have as many as a dozen of these fasteners to install and let’s face it that small L-shaped Allen wrench they include in the package isn’t exactly designed for speed. But it can be! First, put the Allen wrench in a vice and use a hack saw to cut off the shorter of the legs. Then take the remaining long straight part and chuck it into a cordless drill just like a regular drill bit. Set the drill’s clutch on a low setting to prevent stripping the fasteners and you’re ready to assemble furniture about 100 times faster than doing it by hand.
