Tracing Curves

Simple Solutions:

Using paint cans or cups to trace circles and curves is easy, but gentle arcs can be more difficult. A flexible piece of thin wood or even plastic pipe can help but holding it in the proper bend is the trick. Try this: Tie a string to one end of a yardstick (or similar thin piece of wood) and cut a notch in the other end. Use the string to bow the yardstick and tie a knot in the string to hook in the notch when the proper curve is achieved.
