Danny and Joe welcome callers’ questions each week on the Today‚Äôs Homeowner Radio Show.

Here’s a question from our Feb. 23, 2019 broadcast:

Ron from Mississippi says, “We have an odor that sometimes fills the bathroom and master bedroom.

“We have had the toilet wax rings replaced and the toilet solidified, but the smell sometimes wafts in at various times. It smells like a sewer.

“My wife is ready to dynamite it. HELP!”

    Hi, Elaine!
We recommend, above all else, Rockwool, a mineral wool insulation that is sound absorbent and fire resistant.
    Thanks for your question!

What are your thoughts on the insulation that looks like a sheet of aluminum foil? Company out of Fla Hawking it here in St Simons Island. Sounds too good to be true. Rep says it was developed by NASA for space travel. Very expensive. I desperately need insulation before summer time.
