Here’s how to convert an empty soda bottle into a makeshift lawn sprinkler: Drill three or four 1/8″ diameter holes into the side of a two-liter soda bottle. Wrap Teflon tape around the bottle threads to form a waterproof seal. Then, screw a female-to-female hose fitting onto the bottle threads. Attach a garden hose to the hose fitting, place the sprinkler in your yard or garden, and turn on the water.
