A Better Way to Roll Up a Rug

By: Joe Truini

rolling up a rug

People usually roll a rug from end to end, causing it to bend and crack in the middle. Not only does this make the rug awkward to carry, it could also damage the back of the rug.

A better technique is to roll the rug diagonally, from corner to corner. The weight is distributed more in the middle, making it less likely to bend and easier to carry. Watch the video for details.
