Installing a Central Vacuum System in Your Home

By: Danny Lipford

Central vacuum systems, like those from NuTone, are a convenient way to keep your home clean, since you don’t have to carry a heavy vacuum cleaner around the house. The air is expelled outside, which can prevent dust and other allergens from recirculating around your home.

Installing a central vac system in your home can actually be quite a difficult process. My husband likes to think of himself as a DIY kind of guy, and when we were thinking about getting a central system, he wanted to install it himself. I would much rather have a professional do it though so I can be sure that it’s done right, and my husband stays safe.
