Jodi Marks: Well, if you are in the market for a new toilet, look no further than the Delta Brevard, because this toilet right here has got FlushIQ technology.

Let me tell you what’s all going on here. First of all, it is a touchless flush, so that when you wave your hand over the sensor, it automatically flushes the toilet for you.

It also has overflow protection. What does that mean? Well, it means that the toilet’s not going to overflow, because inside the bowl, there’s a sensor that detects the water level. And it stops the water from flowing into the bowl once it hits that level so that it won’t overflow.

Another thing that it has is leak detection. So, you know, inside the tank if the flapper is not seated properly, you can start to leak water, and that’ll run up your water bill. Well, there’s a sensor in there that will alert you to let you know that that leak is going on.

There are a couple of other cool features that I like. Look at this. It’s got a slow close lid, so you’re not slamming the lid. It also has a SmartFit connection right here for the tank to the bowl, so that that reduces leaks as well.

This is just a pretty cool, little toilet. It’s also ADA-approved with a comfort height, so, you’re in good shape to go there.

I’ll tell you what, I’m going to have to get one of these. I’ll get it on my bill and give it to Danny.

This is the only toilet that makes me want to use it every time I see it. It is a waste of money. I need another repair kit for it. The battery sensor wave your hand thing is a joke. It get moisture in tank batteries rust and it will not flush. Who ever thought of this should be fired. Now I need my 3rd repair kit and no one calls me back. Great. I am going to take it back to home depot and dump in parking lot. That is all it worth. I have put $25:00 with of batteries in it in last few months. they may last a week up to 5 weeks. It is a joke. DO NOY BUY IT.

I installed the toilet yesterday but can not get it to fill with water. Changed the batteries but still getting a flashing red light. I have water going to the fill valve but not coming out to fill the tank. What can I do to fix the problem?

your touchless toilet is getting touched a lot. I only have it about a year,
to buy replacement parts cost more than what I paid for the toilet
seems like you set everyone up who bought this product

Bought one of your hands free delta brevard toilets last year and it just quit out of nowhere. Changed the batteries and it stayed yellow for awhile but won’t flush. Changed the batteries again and still nothing. Not even a light. Can I get some help?

I’m like everyone else. Had the toilet about 1 year then the occasional mystery flush and doesn’t flush when it’s supposed to. Was leary before I bought it and now really regretting it. I’m calling Delta on Monday and I want a new conventional toilet. Isn’t so smart if it doesn’t work!!

Contractor installed 2 of these Delta Flush IQ toilets in a new vacation home, a couple of months ago.
These toilets are a disgrace, neither of them has been flushed more 20 times, changed batteries 4-5 times…Delta grudgingly replaced the inside electronics on one after it wouldn’t flush or fill, AND now I’m having the same problem is with the other one, On Memorial Day…Who wants to troubleshoot a toilet????
Why doesn’t it just work, it’s a toilet for Gods sake!!
Have to wait till Delta opens tomorrow to let them I want them out of my home and replaced with mechanical toilets.

I am like all the others on here and the complaints. I have two as well and so far delta has worked with me by sending me out new guts to replace inside the tank on the first one that was flushing on its own then not at all etc. Now I’m starting to have issues with the second one so again I’m calling deltas toll free number. Just a plain nightmare and certainly wished I’d not been talked into these “smart” commodes!!

Toilet was put in by contractor to aid my wife who needs help. It has not worked since its inception. Once in awhile it will flush on blue, sometimes on yellow but most of the time, I use the hand flush to flush if there is enough water in the tank. I change batteries and it still doesn’t work. I have been told by everyone who has looked at it to replace it with a hand flush. Can you give me some advice as to what to do with this defective toilet? J. Owen.

My delta commode is about 3 years old and there’s something that continues to sound like running water inside the tank. Plumber looked at it and it stopped momentarily but continues.
Does anyone have any idea what I need to do? Have never have to maintain a commode before. Especially a 3 year old toilet.

I hear your pain fellow commenters..Bought one of these toilets last year, and now it has a leak where the water connection is by the main water line, and sometimes it flushs by itself, and when I replace the batteries it takes forever to reset, or it wont flush at all. And the worst one yet, is it doesn’t shut of the water running, it just keeps running. Unable to find any help on this from home depot, my area doesn’t even carry this model anymore. Any help out there..

My delta completely stopped working also. It’s last days it was flushing back to back on its own and now it won’t fill with water or flush and has brand new batteries. I emailed delta and still no response 2 weeks later. Kinda sucks they aren’t backing up products and contacting me to resolve issues.

We have two of these toilets and now neither will flush. One just stays solid blue and does nothing. The other turns red then green then blue and doesn’t flush. Both have new batteries and are less than 4 months old. There is no trouble shooting for either of these light situations. I wish we’d never have bought them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having a problem with this toilet. The water keeps running to fill the tank. And you can’t flush the toilet. I had to shut off the main water supply to stop the water from running.
