How to Secure Hooks in Pegboard

By: Joe Truini

Pegboard is a great way to keep tools handy in a workshop, but often when the tool is removed, the hook falls off with it. To solve this problem, screw a 1” drywall screw in the hole next to the hook to hold it firmly in place.

I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to secure it. I ended up using zip ties and securing it through the hole beneath where the hook goes in. works great!
