Make this Mini Greenhouse to Jump-Start Planting Season

By: Joe Truini

Create a mini greenhouse with a planter, soil, seeds and a modified plastic bottle.

Want to get a head start on the planting season? Just start planting from seeds indoors.

If you want to accelerate that process, make a mini greenhouse from a plastic soda bottle.

This is an easy DIY project.

First, cut the top half of the bottle with a utility knife.

Next, add some soil and seeds to a planter, and be sure to water them.

Finally, take the top half of the plastic bottle, place it over the planter and set the mini greenhouse near a sunny window.
