    I own several Ridgid Fuego tools. They are under the lifetime warranty. In my line of work, I go thru batteries in 2 – 3 years. Their lifetime replaced them with New – no questions asked, they even said “see you in 2 years” implying that there will be no trouble when replacing again. I am originally a DeWalt fan, so I tested equally used-up batteries with equally used impact drills on 3inch screws – the speed and ease that they went in was almost identical.

    The lifetime warranty won me over. A little note: DeWalt store has repaired my DeWalt drill really quick at one time (couple weeks). The authorised Ridgid shop here in my city took I think 2 or 3 months to replace my batteries. But could have been one time thing I guess.
