I’m in Stafford, Virginia, in the kitchen of the winner of the Today’s Dream Kitchen Contest sponsored by Merillat cabinets. We’re doing an entire episode soon on Today’s Homeowner on this kitchen renovation, but I wanted to give you a sneak preview of how great the kitchen looks with new Merillat cabinets and Denova countertops.
The cabinets in this kitchen have some features that many homeowners aren’t aware of, including soft-close cabinet doors and drawers. Rather than slamming, the cabinet doors and drawers simply ease closed the final few inches. This not only helps protect little fingers, but it might allow you to sleep a little later in the morning!
