When the day finally rolls around to replace your water heater, it can really pay to consider a tankless water heater. These compact units are mounted on the wall, taking up only a fraction of space as the large tank models.

Tankless heaters deliver a continuous supply of water at a consistent temperature, so you never have to worry about it running out. And because tankless systems only heat water as you need it, you can save up to 40% on heating your water each month.

Many tankless gas water heaters have also earned the Energy Star seal of approval, making them an environmentally friendly choice for an appliance. And one final benefit of the tankless water heater is that they have a life expectancy of 20 years, about twice as long as traditional tank models.
