Fiberglass Insulation Made from Recycled Glass

Many companies are making an effort to make their products more environmentally friendly and Owens Corning is no exception. Not only does their fiberglass insulation reduce the amount of energy needed to heat and cool your home, it’s made from 40% or more recycled glass.

Using recycled glass to make fiberglass insulation cuts the amount of energy needed to produce it by 13% and makes Owens Corning one of the largest users of recycled glass in the world.
